Anxiety Counseling in Richardson, Texas

When your mind stays on alert, even ordinary days can take more energy than they should.

Understanding the cycle

Anxiety can show up as constant mental rehearsal, physical tension, trouble resting, or the sense that you need to be prepared for every possible outcome. Sometimes there is an obvious source of stress. Sometimes life looks fine from the outside, which can make the anxiety itself feel confusing.

In our work, we can slow the cycle down. What is your mind predicting? What happens in your body? What do you do to find relief? These questions help us understand the pattern without blaming you for having it.

Working toward a different response

My approach draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. We can examine the thoughts that keep the alarm active, make room for uncomfortable feelings, and practice small changes in behavior. The goal is to help you make choices that matter to you even when anxiety is present.

Counseling can be a place to talk honestly about the pressures in your life and develop practical ways to respond. We will pay attention to what fits your situation rather than treating every anxious person the same.

I offer counseling at the Richardson office and by telehealth, subject to current availability.

Getting started

You can ask about availability, fees, and whether my approach fits what you are looking for. There is no need to send private details in your first message.
